Tudor Banquet

Year 4 had a fantastic time yesterday at their banquet. Mrs Porter and Mrs Khan were busy bees in the kitchen on Thursday and Friday morning. With the help of the pupils, they prepared a delicious feast of cinnamon and cheese tarts, Elizabethan cake and much more.

It was a brilliant end to our term. Thank you for sending the ingredients and costumes into school to help the Year 4 staff with the preparation for this event.

Golden Ticket Fun!

We had a brilliant time on Wednesday as it was the awaited Golden Ticket day. During the morning, we were very lucky as the Golden Ticket pupils watched an entertaining circus show. Once the show was over, we went into the lower school hall to learn different circus skills. Well done to all of the pupils who achieved the Golden ticket!

Solar Eclipse
4.1 were very lucky on Friday morning as Miss McGeory ordered special glasses so that the children were able to go outside to safely view the partial solar eclipse. The pupils were all very excited about this rare event. I hope that they told you all about it.

Loudmouth workshop

Loudmouth visited school on Tuesday to deliver a special assembly about anti bullying. Each class also worked with Loudmouth in a smaller workshop during the day. The pupils learnt about e safety and how to protect themselves on-line.

Practising the actions for e safety protection: flag it, save it, block it, zip it and cool it.

Discussing different scenarios.

Recognising bullying.
