Lunt Fort Visit

Wow! What an exciting trip! We went back in time 2000 years ago and learned about the Roman Invasion in Britain.

We now know more about what Britain was like before the invasion and the beliefs of the Celtic people who were living in Britain.

Good Work

Well done to Billy and Kieran who both worked extremely hard in English today. The boys wrote a marvellous autobiographical story which was based on our visit to Lunt Fort. I would also like to congratulate Elvine as she was awarded this weeks German certificate of achievement.

Well done to this week's 100% spellers. Unfortunately, we don't have as many 100% achievers as we did last week. Remember to practise your spellings at home each night. I'm sure that we will have double the amount of names on next week's poster.

May Day celebrations

What an exciting day! The pupils arrived to school looking beautiful in their white and green clothes this morning to celebrate May Day. The day started off with a big surprise when 4.1 walked into the hall to find a huge maypole placed in the centre of the room.

The fun didn't end there either. Later on in the morning, we decorated a special celebratory cake and  also learned how to Morris dance. It's safe to say that today was another action packed day at The Oval.
